Gome Puncak, MediaHabema – One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Puncak Regency, Papua Tengah Province.
On Saturday, 16 November 2024, the 323 Task Forces, especially the Gome Post led by First Lieutenant Galang, held a Territorial Activity entitled "Free Health Treatment" for residents of Agiyome Village, Gome District. This activity, a testament to their dedication, helped the residents with difficulties in the health sector, one of the community's basic needs, and commemorated the 74th anniversary of the 323 Infantry Battalion.
In conducting routine duties, the 323 Task Forces have actively carried out security activities in its area of responsibility. During its routine task on Saturday, the Gome Post had its Medical Team conduct free Health Treatment for the community. The free Health Treatment included general medical check-ups, treatment for minor illnesses, provision of vitamins, and education about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and living a healthy lifestyle.
On Saturday morning, the Agiyome residents actively participated in the 'Free Health Treatment' initiative at the Post. One of them was Mama Ratna Turnib, who received health treatment for her flu illness and was provided with medicine and vitamins. After the treatment, Mama Ratna expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Commander 323. I feel better now. God bless."
After receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, acknowledged the 323 Task Forces’ initiative to hold 'Free Health Treatment' for residents of Agiyome Village.
His words: 'The 323 Task Forces' initiative is a testament to TNI's commitment to helping the residents with difficulties in the health sector, one of the community's basic needs, to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region.
